Tyler Stice opens NCAA championship singles play Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

One of 64 singles players selected for the championship bracket, Stice faces Illinois' Aleksander Kovacevic in first-round play Sunday at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Stice, a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., and a first team all-SEC honoree, is ranked No. 26 nationally. Playing at No. 1 singles, he posted a 16-13 overall record and went 12-9 in the spring, facing 13 ranked opponents.

Live scoring is available via TennisTicker; fans can also watch all matches throughout the tournament by downloading the TennisOne app for free on mobile devices.

Auburn's Tad Maclean and Finn Murgett begin play in the 32-team NCAA doubles championship on Monday. The Tiger tandem will face Virginia Tech's Ryan Fishback and Jordan Chrysostom, ranked No. 25, in the opening round.

Listed at No. 26 nationally in the latest Oracle/ITA doubles rankings, the duo of Maclean, a junior from Cornwall, England, and Murgett, a sophomore from Holmfirth, England, went 11-10 this spring at No. 1 doubles, facing 11 ranked teams, and 16-13 for the year.

All matches at the NCAA Championships shall be the best-of-three sets. No-ad scoring and a 7-point tiebreaker at six-games-all will be used for all matches. In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.

This is the 19th time Auburn men's tennis has qualified a doubles team for the NCAA Championships; the last was Maclean paired with Brandon Laubser in 2019. Auburn's Mark Kovacs and Andy Columbo won the NCAA doubles title in 2002.

Stice is the 26th Auburn competitor to play in the NCAA singles championship; the last was Lukas Ollert in 2015.
