Auburn picked up its first SEC series win of the season by defeating No. 20 Georgia in the final two games of the weekend … the series win marked Auburn's first regular season series win against a ranked opponent since taking two of three at Mississippi State in 2017 … the Tigers were held to a season-low two hits in Thursday's opener but bounced back to collect a combined 26 hits in the next two games … Friday's 14-inning win was tied for the program's seventh longest game all-time … it marked the longest game in which the team won since a 17-inning win vs. Arkansas in 1994 … the Tigers homered three times in Friday's marathon win, marking the 11th game this season with three or more home runs … redshirt freshman catcher Ryan Dyal hit his first career home run in the fifth inning of Friday's game, becoming the 12th player to homer this season.
