AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn men's golfer Jovan Rebula finished 15th in the inaugural PGA Tour University rankings and earned membership to the newly-created Forme Tour.
Rebula is part of a 15-member class to earn qualification following the 2020-21 collegiate season.
"It is huge for Jovan to get into the top 15," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "PGA Tour U is basically an inaugural draft for college golf, and I think it's great for the game. I'm really happy for him. He deserves it and has worked hard for it. Now he's got an opportunity to take his game to the next level."
A two-time All-Southeastern Conference First Team selection, Rebula became the fifth Tiger in program history to win the SEC individual title in 2019.
The George, South Africa native set the Auburn single-season record in 2020 after averaging 70.19 strokes per round and was chosen as a PING All-American Honorable Mention for the third straight season, becoming the third golfer in program history to be a three-time All-American.
Rebula also earned multiple invites to be on the International Team at the Arnold Palmer Cup, competing in the summer of 2018 and 2019.
The PGA Tour announced in April the creation of the Forme Tour for current PGA Tour Canada members as a result of restrictions and other COVID-19-related issues at the U.S.-Canadian border.
The Forme Tour will continue to provide Official World Golf Ranking points and is planning an eight-tournament schedule played during the summer. The top-five points earners will gain 2021-22 Korn Ferry Tour membership along with others advancing to the second and final stages of the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament.
