Garrett Cooper (OF, Miami Marlins)
Season stats (52 games): .248/.326/.394, 17 R, 41 H, 7 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR, 22 RBI, 16 BB

The Marlins placed Cooper on the 10-day IL with a lumbar strain on June 9. The fifth-year pro homered in three straight games and drove in a combined seven runs from May 20-22, going 7-for-13 and scoring four runs during the span. His three-game hot streak came in the middle of an 11-game hit streak.

Grant Dayton (LHP, Atlanta Braves)
Season stats (13 games): 0-0, 6.23 ERA, 13.0 IP, 15 H, 10 R, 9 ER, 6 BB, 14 K, .283 B/AVG

The Braves placed Dayton on the 10-day IL with left shoulder inflammation on June 5. Like Cooper, 2021 marks Dayton's fifth season in the big leagues, including his third with the Braves. The left-hander didn't allow a run in eight of his first 10 appearances this season.

Josh Donaldson (3B, Minnesota Twins)
Season stats (52 games): .249/.349/.475, 30 R, 45 H, 11 2B, 10 HR, 26 RBI, 29 BB

Donaldson is Auburn's longest-tenured professional, playing in his 11th season in the big leagues and his second in Minnesota. The third baseman has homered five times in the last nine games, including a pair of two-home-run efforts, and is hitting .294 during the span. Two of his home runs last week were game-tying homers in the 8th and 9th innings. He ranks second on the Twins in doubles, third in home runs and fourth in RBI.

Casey Mize (RHP, Detroit Tigers)
Season stats (12 games): 3-4, 3.44 ERA, 70.2 IP, 53 H, 27 R, 27 ER, 22 BB, 59 K, .210 B/AVG

Getting a taste of his first full season in MLB, Mize made the Tigers starting rotation out of Spring Training and currently leads the team in starts and innings pitched. His 70.2 innings pitched are also tops among American League rookies. Mize also ranks tied for fourth among AL rookies in strikeouts and tied for fifth in wins. Since the start of May, the former No. 1 overall pick is 2-1 with a 2.45 ERA and has struck out 39 batters in 44.0 innings.

Keegan Thompson (RHP, Chicago Cubs)
Season stats (13 games): 3-1, 2.01 ERA, 22.1 IP, 19 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 13 BB, 25 K, .238 B/AVG

Thompson became Auburn's 55th former player to appear in the big leagues as he made his debut with the Cubs on May 5, 2021, tossing a scoreless inning of relief at Cincinnati. Thompson didn't allow an earned run in his first nine appearances and picked up three wins during the span. He made his first big league start against the Dodgers on May 4 and held the defending World Champs scoreless and to just two hits in 3.2 innings of work. Thompson entered the season considered the Cubs No. 14 prospect by MLB.com.

Trey Wingenter (RHP, San Diego Padres)
Wingenter was placed on the Padres 60-day IL on Feb. 18, 2021. He is currently recovering from Tommy John Surgery

Ben Braymer (LHP, Rochester Red Wings – Washington Nationals)
Season stats (6 games): 1-4, 7.03 ERA, 24.1 IP, 28 H, 19 R, 19 ER, 16 BB, 18 K, .283 B/AVG

After making his MLB debut with the Nationals in 2020, Braymer began the 2021 season in Rochester's rotation and has made six starts for the club. He earned a win in a season high 6.0 innings against Scraton Wilkes-Barre on May 23 and has turned in a 3.00 ERA in his last four starts. Braymer is considered the Nationals No. 21 prospect by MLB.com.

The Bisons placed Palacios on the 7-day IL on May 11. The fifth-year pro made his MLB debut with the Blue Jays on Apr. 9, 2021 and hit .250 with four RBI in 10 games with the big-league club. Palacios joined Buffalo on May 3 and played in six games with the Bisons before getting injured. Palacios is considered the Blue Jays No. 27 prospect by MLB.com.

Damek Tomscha (3B, St. Paul Saints – Minnesota Twins)
Season stats (30 games): .198/.277/.356, 11 R, 20 H, 4 2B, 4 HR, 11 RBI, 10 BB, 1 SB

Tomscha was signed to a minor league contract by the Twins on Mar. 3 and has played in 30 of St. Paul's 36 games this season. Tomscha hit a pair of home runs at Iowa on May 29 and hit a three-run homer, his fourth of the season, against Omaha on June 13.

Gabe Klobosits (RHP, Harrisburg Senators – Washington Nationals)
Season stats (12 games): 1-1, 0.00 ERA, 2 SV, 14.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 5 BB, 22 K, .128 B/AVG

Getting his first taste of Double-A ball, Globosits is yet to allow an earned run in his first 12 appearances and 14.0 innings this season. The right-hander leads the Senators and ranks tied for 10th in the league in appearances while ranking second on the team in saves, third in average against and fourth in WHIP (0.79). He earned his second save of the season in a scoreless inning vs. Richmond on June 13.

Andrew Mitchell (LHP, Binghamton Rumble Ponies – New York Mets)
Season stats (10 games): 3-1, 2.65 ERA, 17.0 IP, 12 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 19 K, .197 B/AVG

Also getting his first taste of Double-A ball, Mitchell has allowed one or fewer earned runs in nine of his first 10 appearances and has held the opponent scoreless on six occasions. The southpaw leads the team with three wins on the season is tied for third in appearances. He earned his second win in three appearances this month with 1.1 scoreless innings on June 11.

Tanner Burns (RHP, Lake County Captains – Cleveland Indians)
Season stats (6 games): 2-2, 2.51 ERA, 28.2 IP, 19 H, 9 R, 8 ER, 6 BB, 32 K, .186 B/AVG

The 36th overall pick in last year's draft, Burns made his professional debut on May 7 and turned in 4.0 scoreless innings with no walks and six strikeouts. He followed it up by striking out a season-high seven in his next start. Burns earned his first professional win in 6.0 scoreless innings against Dayton on June 4 and is 2-0 with no runs and 12 strikeouts in 11.0 innings in his last two starts. The former All-American right-hander ranks third in the league in WHIP (0.87) and fourth in ERA and average against. Burns in considered the Indians No. 15 prospect by MLB.com.

Davis Daniel (RHP, Tri-City Dust Devils – Los Angeles Angels)
Season stats (6 games): 2-2, 2.35 ERA, 30.2 IP, 18 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 16 BB, 41 K, .171 B/AVG

Coming off an invite to big league Spring Training, Daniel hasn't disappointed in his first six professional starts. The right-hander missed his first taste of professional baseball after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2019 and entered 2021 as the Angels No. 19 prospect according to MLB.com. Daniel earned his first professional win in 5.0 scoreless innings at Spokane on June 3 and is 2-0 with no runs, two hits and 16 strikeouts in his last two starts. He took a no-hitter into the seventh inning of his most recent start, ultimately allowing one hit in 7.0 shutouts frames, and was named the High-A West Pitcher of the Week. Daniel ranks second in the league in ERA, third in average against and tied for sixth in strikeouts.

Daniel Robert (RHP, Hickory Crawdads – Texas Rangers)

Robert was placed on the 7-day IL on May 11. The right-hander made a pair of appearances and struck out six batters in 3.1 innings prior to the injury. Robert picked up the save and struck out five in 2.0 scoreless innings in his season debut on May 4.

Holland was placed on the team's 7-day IL with a right elbow strain on May 14. He appeared in five games prior to the injury and collected a double and home run while scoring three runs. Holland is considered the Twins No. 22 prospect by MLB.com.
 
Bailey Horn (LHP, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers – Chicago White Sox)

After being selected in the fifth round of last year's draft, Horn made his professional debut on May 8 and turned in 4.0 scoreless and hitless innings. The southpaw spent a brief stint on the injured list, but has returned to form as he has posted a 0.75 EA with 10 strikeouts and three walks in three starts and 12.0 innings pitched during June. Horn is considered the White Sox No. 24 prospect by MLB.com.

Edouard Julien (IF, Fort Myers Mighty Mussels – Minnesota Twins)

Julien's professional career is off to a hot start as the 2019 draft pick has played in all but one contests and ranks top five in the league in hits, doubles and walks while also ranking tied for sixth in runs and stolen bases and seventh in on-base percentage. Julien went 4-for-4 with a walk and three stolen bases in a game on May 18 and has collected multiple hits nine times this season. He hit his first professional homer and drove in a season-high three runs on May 26.

Matt Scheffler (C, Modesto Nuts – Seattle Mariners)
Season stats (18 games): .250/.385/.422, 12 R, 16 H, 5 2B, 2 HR, 10 RBI, 11 BB, 1 SB

After signing as a free agent last year, Scheffler started his professional career with a bang, homering in his first career at-bat on May 4. The Washington native collected a hit in his first six professional games and was 8-for-22 during the span. He drove in a pair of runs in back-to-back games on May 22 and May 25, adding his second professional homer in the latter contest. Scheffler has reached base in all but one of his first 18 games played.

Ryan Watson (RHP, Delmarva Shorebirds – Baltimore Orioles)
Season stats (6 games): 2-1, 1.93 ERA, 14.0 IP, 13 H, 8 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 21 K, .228 B/AVG

Like Scheffler, Watson signed as a free agent last year and started his professional career by earning a win in a scoreless inning of relief on May 16. Watson has served as both a reliever and starter for the Shorebirds and hasn't allowed an earned run in four of his first six games. He struck out 17 batters in 8.1 innings over three appearances from May 19-June 1.
