ST. LOUIS – Auburn gymnastics incoming freshman Sunisa Lee looks to secure a spot on Team USA as she is set to compete at the Olympic Team Trials held in St. Louis, Mo., at The Dome at America's Center. The women's competition is scheduled for Friday, June 25, and Sunday, June 27.

"It's so much fun to watch and support our future Tiger as she goes through this Olympic process," Auburn head coach Jeff Graba said. "The pressure and stress she is under is incredible and yet she is handling it like the champion that she is. I can't wait for the Auburn fans to see her in orange and blue after we hopefully see her in the red, white and blue!"

Friday's first day of competition will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT with the final day happening Sunday at 7 p.m. CT. Action on both days will air on the Olympic Channel for the first 30 minutes and then will move to NBC for the rest of the evening. Live stream feeds will also be available ate NBCOlympics.com.

Lee, of St. Paul, Minn., is coming off a successful 2021 U.S. Championship where she captured gold on bars and finished as runner-up in the all-around and on beam. This is her first appearance at the Olympic Team Trials.

The U.S. roster will include four gymnasts and two individual event specialist spots. A total of 18 gymnasts are competing this weekend for a chance to represent the U.S. in Tokyo. The top two finishing gymnasts in the all-around will earn automatic bids as part of Team USA with the remaining spots selected by committee.
