AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off wins at Samford and vs. No. 12 BYU to begin the 2021 season, Auburn soccer has been ranked No. 14 by the United Soccer Coaches and No. 22 by Top Drawer Soccer.

The Tigers are the highest ranked team in the Southeastern Conference in the coaches poll and are joined by No. 16 South Carolina, No. 17 Tennessee and No. 21 Texas A&M on the list.

It marks the first time Auburn has been ranked in both polls since the 2018 season.

After conceding a goal in the first three minutes of the season opener at Samford, Auburn scored in the late stages of the first half and middle of the second half to complete the come-from-behind win against the Bulldogs.

Two days later, the Tigers welcomed nationally-ranked BYU to the Plains for the home opener and turned in the team's first win against a top 15 team since 2017, defeating the Cougars 2-1.

The Tigers (2-0-0) face a pair of road contests against in-state foes this week, starting with a match at Troy (2-0-0) Thursday, Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
