STARTING XI
Auburn is off to a 2-0-0 start to the season after a pair of 2-1 wins at Samford and against No. 12 BYU last week.

The team's win against the ranked Cougars marked the first win against a top-15 foe since defeating No. 10 Florida, 1-0, on Oct. 15, 2017.

On the heels of the strong start, the Tigers entered the national rankings this week, appearing at No. 14 in the coaches' poll and No. 22 in Top Drawer Soccer's rankings.

It marks the first time Auburn has been ranked in both polls since Sept. 25, 2018.

Sophomore midfielder Anna Haddock was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week and to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week after accounting for three of Auburn's four goals, including both game winners, last week.

Fifth-year defender Alyssa Malonson tallied the team's other goal and added an assist en route to being named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Redshirt sophomore Kylie Bechard and freshman Carly Thatcher recorded their first career assists and points in the win against BYU.

Auburn has now won seven straight games dating back to last spring. The Tigers have outscored opponents 20-5 during the span.

The seven-game win streak is tied for the second longest in program history.

The Tigers haven't allowed more than one goal in a game since the SEC Tournament quarterfinal matchup with Arkansas on Nov. 17, 2020.

Auburn is 4-0-0 against Troy and has outscored the Trojans 12-1 in the series.

SCOUTING TROY
Troy is off to a 2-0-0 start after wins against Nicholls State and Alabama A&M last weekend.

Freshman forward Erin Bloomfield scored all four of the Trojans goals in the pair of wins, including a hat trick against Alabama A&M. She went on to be named the Sun Belt Player of the Week.

Sophomore Gabby Cossette and freshman Lindsey LaRoche each started a game in net and turned in shutouts while making two saves apiece.
