AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team and head coach Jeff Graba announced the 2022 schedule Friday. The Tigers will host five meets inside Auburn Arena this season.

"This is such an exciting and challenging schedule," Graba said. "In addition to the rigors of the Southeastern Conference, we're closing out the regular season on the road at the defending national champion. We're going to face big tests all season and that should make us stronger and better prepared for the postseason."

Auburn opens 2022 with two meets on the road, starting with a non-conference contest at North Carolina Jan. 7. The Tigers then kick off league play at Arkansas Jan. 14.

The squad opens its home schedule with another non-conference matchup, hosting Iowa State on Jan. 21. Auburn closes out January with a highly anticipated contest vs. rival Alabama Jan. 28. The Crimson Tide will come to Auburn Arena as the defending SEC Champions.

February starts off with the Tigers at LSU on Feb. 4 before returning to the Plains to host Missouri (Feb. 11). The squad heads back on the road for a meet at rival Georgia (Feb. 18) and then caps February in Auburn Arena, hosting Kentucky on Feb. 25.

Auburn's final home meet will be March 4 against SEC regular season champion and NCAA Final Four participant Florida. The contest will serve as the team's Senior Night.

Single meet tickets for the 2022 season will go on sale Dec. 1.

The final two meets of the regular season will be away from the Plains with the first coming on Sunday, March 6. The Tigers will once again participate in the annual Elevate the Stage meet. This year's event will be held in Huntsville, Alabama, and will be a quad meet with Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas.

Auburn closes out the regular season with a contest at defending national champion Michigan on March 11 in Ann Arbor.

Postseason action kicks off March 19 at the 2022 Southeastern Conference Championship taking place in Birmingham. The NCAA Regional Championship will be a two-day meet and will be hosted by the Tigers April 1-2 in Auburn Arena. The NCAA Gymnastics Championships will once again be held in Fort Worth, Texas, and will run April 15-16.
