FRANKLIN, Tenn. – After a slow start, the Auburn women's golf team found their groove on the back nine in Sunday's third round and finished with a flurry, shooting 10-under as a team over the last five holes, to close the Mason Rudolph Championship in fifth place.

The Tigers shot 284 (-4) for the second straight day and finished at 2-under for the weekend. All five players were at par or below par in the final round.

"It was about time we made some putts," Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen said. "This team has such a strong belief with a strong finish on the last five holes. Within a span of 20 minutes, we went from ninth place to fourth. Team golf is so crazy, but that's why I love it."

Sophomore Anna Foster shot under par for the third straight day, firing a 1-under 71 with four birdies in Sunday's third round. Foster placed in a tie for 10th on the individual leaderboard to notch her second career top-10 finish at Auburn.

Making her season debut, senior Mychael O'Berry saved her best round for last with a 70 (-2) in the third round. It was the second straight round in the red for O'Berry who was four-under on Sunday's back nine with four birdies and finished tied for 31st overall at 2-over.

Megan Schofill and Julie McCarthy both closed out the tournament with a 72 (E) on Sunday. At 1-under, Schofill earned her second straight top-20 finish this season as she placed in a tie for 19th. The junior was tied for 12th at the Cougar Classic earlier this month. McCarthy joined O'Berry in a tie for 31st this weekend, closing at 2-over.

Sophomore Elina Sinz climbed into 62nd place with a 1-under 71 in the third round. It was fourth career round under par for Sinz.
