AUBURN, Ala. – Wrapping the final weekend of fall exhibition games with a test of the team's stamina and conditioning, Auburn softball prepares for three contests at Jane B. Moore Field.

The action begins on Friday as the Tigers host Bevill State at 5 p.m. CT. Sunday's fall ball finale features a doubleheader against Valdosta State and Chipola College. The doubleheader is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. CT.

"It is tough – mentally and physically – to play multiple games during a short span," said head coach Mickey Dean. "It is not like we won't have to face that challenge during the season because we are."

Undefeated through its first five fall contests, Auburn is coming off its toughest test to date after defeating Auburn Montgomery, 8-1, in a scheduled 10-inning contest.

The Tigers continued to use the trio of Shelby Lowe, KK Dismukes and Samantha Yarbrough in the circle as each tossed a predetermined number of innings, allowing just one unearned run while fanning 10 as a group.

Offensively, Auburn racked up 13 hits in the contest, highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance from sophomore Kelsey Schmidt. Schmidt slugged two home runs to drive in four runs. The freshmen duo of Aubrie Lisenby and Abbey Smith turned in multi-hit games in the outing.

Admission to all home fall games will be free to the public. The fall games will not be streamed, but fans can stay updated through the Auburn softball Twitter account: @AuburnSoftball.
