AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's golf team will wrap up the fall season at a familiar course, playing at Old Waverly Golf Course in West Point, Mississippi this week as part of the field for The Ally at Old Waverly. The first round begins Monday.
This will be the fifth straight season Auburn has a played a tournament at Old Waverly, and the Tigers have finished sixth or better every year, including a third place finish last year.
Sophomore Elina Sinz made her collegiate debut in last year's The Ally at Old Waverly and fired a career-low 68 (-4) in the first round. She followed it with a 71 (-1) and a 72 (E) to finish at 5-under for the tournament to place sixth overall. The year before, Megan Schofill shot 8-under and placed second in the Magnolia Invitational, also played at Old Waverly.
Both Schofill and Sinz will be in Auburn's lineup this week.
This year's tournament features 11 SEC teams, including six teams ranked in Golfstat's Top Golfweek's Top 25 – Arkansas (3), Florida (8), Alabama (17), Texas A&M (18), LSU (20), and Ole Miss (21). The only non-SEC team in the field is No. 13 TCU.
Auburn will be paired with Arkansas and LSU in Monday's first round. The first group will tee off at 10:10 a.m. CT from the first hole. Live scoring can be found on Golfstat.com.

LAST TIME OUT
In their last tournament, the Auburn women teamed up with the Auburn men for the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, a match play event at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The Tigers took fourth, scoring 3.5 points over the course of three matches.
