What did you choose your profession? "I love helping young women and girls learn life skills through sports. Seeing athletes achieve their goals after putting in work (hard work) is extremely rewarding and you can't really experience that anywhere else. I tried to do a desk job but missed the smell and homeyness of a gym."
How did Auburn prepare you to be successful in your field? "Auburn prepared me by providing the opportunities the explore my passions and taught me how to work with others who may have a different approach to the same end goal."
Advice to current and future Auburn gymnasts? "Savor every moment, the good and bad, because it goes by in the blink of an eye (cliche I know). Another piece of advice would be to take charge of your own life. Your time/life is too valuable to leave in the hands of someone else.
What does the Auburn Family mean to you? "The Auburn Family means always having somewhere to call home no matter where you are. It's a shared connection and sense of community. Wherever you are in the country or the world there is always someone from the Auburn Family to lend a friendly 'War Eagle!' to remind you that you're not alone."
