TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Auburn women's tennis picked up three singles wins Saturday to wrap up the Tigers' weekend at the Roberta Alison Classic, hosted by Alabama.

"The conditions were challenging today," Auburn head coach Caroline Lilley said. "A lot of rain delays, changing surfaces, and disruptions to our normal routine. We are improving, and we handled the inconveniences really well throughout the tournament. Always room to improve but also very encouraged with the progress."

Madeline Meredith went 2-0 on the day, earning a 6-2, 6-1 win over Emily Meyer of Memphis, then came back later in the day to defeat Ariel Johnson of Wisconsin, 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (7).

Anastasia Astakhova also defeated Johnson 7-5, 6-4, but dropped her second match of the day to Memphis' Camila Romero, 6-4, 6-4.

Auburn will next be in action at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, which will be played next weekend in Tempe, Arizona.
