AUBURN, Ala. – Fall season is officially underway and the men of Auburn golf are ready to build upon the hard work put in last season. After graduating a large, experienced senior class, head coach Nick Clinard has ushered in a wave of fresh talent with four freshman and one new assistant coach. As the fall semester rolls along, we will take a closer look at the men who are taking that step up to the next level and beginning their careers on The Plains.

Next up is Frankie Harris, a freshman out of Boca Raton, Florida.

Q: Who did you choose to continue your career at Auburn?
Harris: Coach Clinard is an excellent coach as well as an excellent person. I felt Auburn was a great place to improve my golf game to continue onto the tour.

Q: What has been the highlight of your golf career thus far?
Harris: Winning the Killington Junior Golf Championship on the last hole while tied for the lead with two other players because it showed my ability to lock in and play well under pressure.

Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of golf?
Harris: Fishing, skiing and watching football.

Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Harris: Bluefin tuna sushi. There are lots of ways to make it, and it never gets old.

Q: What is one word you'd use to describe coach Clinard?
Harris: Leader.

Q: What has been the biggest challenge in adjusting to life at college?
Harris: Living on my own and not having my parents to do stuff for me.

Q: If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would they be?
Harris: Donald Trump, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson.

Q: What is your favorite course you have ever played on?
Harris: TPC Sawgrass. It is really cool to play on a course that the tour guys play on in The Players Championship and compare my game to theirs.

Q: What is your favorite movie of all time?
Harris: The Wolf of Wall Street.

Q: What is an interesting fact about yourself that the Auburn family should know?
Harris: I've never had a golf coach before. My pops has been teaching me my whole life.

Q: What is your favorite Auburn tradition?
Harris: Nothing beats rolling Toomer's Corner.
