AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn men's golf has signed one of the top junior golfers in the nation as Reed Lotter has signed his National Letter of Intent, Tigers head coach Nick Clinard announced Wednesday.

"Reed is an excellent addition to our program," Clinard said. "He's a young man of great character and comes from an outstanding family. He's been well-coached throughout his junior career and is extremely driven in his quest to be the best. We look forward to his arrival next August as he has a bright future at Auburn."

Lotter, a product of Savannah, Georgia, is the 24th ranked prospect in the nation for the class of 2022 by Golfweek/Sagarin and the 39th ranked 2022 national prospect by the National Junior Golf Scorecard. He was named the Savannah High School Golfer of the Year for the 2019-21 season and is also the winner of the inaugural Sam Burns AJGA Classic (2021) in addition to being selected as a participant in the 2021 Club Car Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Lotter will join the program in the fall of 2022 to begin his career on The Plains.
