AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn swimming and diving team is hoping for fast times and high scores when the Tigers travel to Atlanta this week for the Georgia Tech Fall Invite. The meet will run Thursday through Saturday with prelims and finals each day.
The Auburn men and women will compete in the McAuley Aquatic Center where they will be joined by Florida, Florida State, Georgia and host Georgia Tech. All five men's teams in attendance are ranked in the latest CSCAA Top 25 while three of the five women's teams are ranked with all three in the top 15 – Florida (8), Georgia (9) and Auburn (15).
Iowa will also be competing in the women's diving events only.
The Tigers have enjoyed a strong start to the 2021-22 season. The women won dual meets against Florida State and Kentucky, last year's SEC champion, while the men also knocked off Kentucky and went down to the wire against Georgia their last time out.
Both teams moved up in the latest CSCAA Top 25. The Auburn men made their season debut at No. 20, and the women's team jumped to No. 15 in the nation.
This week's GT Fall Invite will begin Thursday at 9 a.m. CT with prelims followed by finals at 4:30 p.m. CT. Live results are available via MeetMobile.
