Years competed: 2015-18

Major at Auburn: Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration. I went on to complete a Master of Science from the Baylor College of Medicine in Orthotics and Prosthetics.

What are you currently pursuing right now in school?
I'm currently working as a Board-Certified Orthotist and Prosthetist in Houston.

Why did you choose this career path?
Orthotics and prosthetics combine medicine with engineering to help people regain their mobility and independence after an injury or illness. I've always been interested in both of those disciplines and was lucky enough to find a career that balances the two.

How has Auburn preparing you to be successful away from the Plains?
Time management and dedication are essential to being successful in college, even more so when you're on a team. Making it from class to practice to study hall and evening labs taught me to how to prioritize all my different commitments.

Advice to current and future Auburn gymnasts?
Make friends inside and outside of athletics! Teammates and friends in other sports will understand your joys and struggles as an athlete, and friends on campus are there for you when you need a break from all of it.

What does the Auburn Family mean to you?
I've always loved the Auburn Creed and I think it articulates the characteristics of the Auburn Family perfectly. Every time I meet new alumni, I'm reminded of the last line, "... and because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.". War Eagle!
