Auburn baseball signing class: Blake Rambusch

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn baseball added another member to its 2021 signing class in junior college infielder Blake Rambusch.
 
Rambusch is a native of Austin, Texas, and is entering his third season at Grayson College, located in Denison, Texas.  
 
"I want to play at the highest level possible, and Auburn offered me the opportunity to play for a program in the best conference in the country," Rambusch said. "The coaches and I have connected on a personal level and have very similar views on baseball.
 
"I want to be a part of a program that pushes you to be the best on and off the field," he added. "I'm ready to get to Auburn to help win a lot of games and play in Omaha."

Rambusch began his career at Grayson College by hitting .333 and getting on base at a .455 clip as a freshman in 2019. The Austin, Texas, native collected 14 doubles, four home runs and 46 RBI. He played in 55 games and totaled 58 hits with 52 runs scored. Prior to COVID-19 shutting down the 2020 season, Rambusch was hitting .379 with a .514 on-base percentage and .655 slugging percentage.
 
Rambusch was recently named a 2021 Prep Baseball Report JUCO Preseason First Team All-American. He was previously named to the PBR Top Prospects List for the 2020 MLB Draft as well as the No. 19 JUCO prospect in the fall of 2019. Rambusch also earned a nod to play in the 2019 JUCO All-Star Game following his freshman season at Grayson.  
 
Prior to his days at Grayson, Rambusch was a standout infielder and pitcher at Gateway Prep and with the Canes Southwest Elite.
