AUBURN, Ala. – For the first time this season, Auburn softball jumped into the national rankings in two of the four major collegiate softball polls.
 
The Tigers were ranked No. 24 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches Poll. It is the first time Auburn (10-1) has been ranked by the publication since its 2020 preseason poll. In the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25, Auburn is tied with UCF at No. 23. The Tigers were last ranked by USA softball in 2019.
 
Oklahoma (12-0) earned the No. 1 ranking in all four of the major polls. Rounding out the top five in the NFCA Coaches Poll was No. 2 Arizona, No. 3 Alabama, No. 4 UCLA and No. 5 Florida (12-0).
 
Seven other Southeastern Conference programs earned a spot in the NFCA Coaches Poll to bring the conference's total to 10. Other teams in the league to be ranked include No. 10 Kentucky, No. 13 LSU, No. 17 South Carolina, No. 18 Missouri, No. 19 Georgia, No. 20 Arkansas and No. 25 Tennessee.
