AUBURN, Ala. – After extending its win streak to 10 straight games, Auburn softball trended upward in two of the four major collegiate polls to earn its highest ranking of the 2021 season.
 
The Tigers were ranked No. 21 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches Poll. It Is Auburn (15-1) highest ranking from the publication since Week 11 in 2019. Auburn moved up one spot to No 22 in the latest ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25.
 
Oklahoma (17-0) earned the No. 1 ranking from all four major polls. The Sooners received 31 of the 32 first-place votes in the latest NFCA Coaches Poll. Rounding out the top five in the NFCA Coaches Poll were No. 2 Arizona, No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 Alabama and No. 5 Oregon.
 
Eight additional Southeastern Conference programs earned a spot in the poll to bring the conference total to 10. Other teams in the league ranked include No. 6 Florida, No. 9 Kentucky, No. 12 LSU, No. 17 Missouri, No. 18 Georgia, No. 19 Arkansas, No. 20 South Carolina and No. 22 Tennessee.
