AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn track & field team announced the completion of its 2022 competition schedule after the finalization of its outdoor season Tuesday, which features two home meets at Hutsell-Rosen Track.
 
Auburn opens its outdoor season at home, hosting the Tiger Track Classic (March 18-19) before splitting duties the following week at both the Clyde Littlefield Relays (March 23-26) in Austin, Texas and the Raleigh Relays (March 24-26) in Raleigh, North Carolina.
 
The Tigers begin the month of April competing in the Pepsi Florida Relays (April 1-2) in Gainesville, Florida before heading west to Oxford, Mississippi for the Joe Walker Invitational (April 8-9).
 
The final home meet of the year, the War Eagle Invitational, is slated for April 15-16. The meet will also serve as this year's senior weekend.
 
Outdoor season wraps up with Auburn traveling to in-state foe the University of Alabama for the Crimson Tide Invitational (April 22-23) before once again splitting the competition between Penn Relays (April 27-30) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Torrin Lawrence Invitational (April 29-30) in Athens, Georgia.
 
A single-day meet, the Tennessee Challenge (May 7), in Knoxville, Tennessee will serve as a final opportunity for any Tigers with NCAA Championship hopes to punch their ticket to Eugene, Oregon later in the season.
 
Postseason action begins May 12-14 as the Tigers square off at SEC Championships hosted by the University of Mississippi. Following conference championships, Auburn makes the trek to Bloomington, Indiana for the NCAA East Preliminary (May 26-28), the precursor to premier event of the season – NCAA Championships (June 8-11) at the University of Oregon's esteemed Hayward Field.
