AUBURN, Ala. – To begin the spring season, the Auburn women's golf team will send four individuals to play in the Lady Bulldog Invitational this weekend.

The quartet is led by Kaleigh Telfer, a fifth-year senior who ranks third in Auburn history with 27 rounds under par for her career. This will be the first tournament of the season for Telfer who went through the LPGA's Q-School in the fall.

The Tigers will also be represented by sophomores Elina Sinz and Ashley-Sinclair Curtis as well as freshman Morgan Jones who will be making her collegiate debut.

The 36-hole tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday from the UGA Golf Course in Athens, Georgia. It's an individual tournament with no team scores kept. The field features golfers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, UAB, Wake Forest and Western Kentucky.

Because of the cold conditions, there will be a shotgun start at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday morning and the players will go until they run out of daylight. The remainder of the 36 holes will be played on Sunday. Live scoring can be found on Golfstat.com
