AUBURN, Ala. – Two weeks after playing in the UCF Challenge, the Auburn women's golf team is back in Florida for the Moon Golf Invitational this week. The three-day tournament tees off Sunday from the Suntree Country Club in Melbourne.

It's arguably the strongest field the Tigers have faced all season with nine of the 15 teams ranked in Golfstat's latest Top 25 and five teams ranked in the top 10.

Auburn, ranked No. 17, comes in following a fifth-place finish at the UCF Challenge where the team shot 16-under. Anna Foster and Megan Schofill both shot under par in the tournament, and the duo will take the top two spots in the lineup for the Moon Golf Invitational. They have combined to shoot 17 rounds under par this season.

It will be the same five from the previous tournament with Elina Sinz, Kaleigh Telfer and Mychael O'Berry joining Foster and Schofill. Senior Julie McCarthy and freshman Morgan Jones also made the trip and will be playing as individuals.

Auburn finished fifth at last year's Moon Golf Invitational, played at Duran Golf Club.

The Tigers will tee off at 7:50 a.m. CT on Sunday and will be paired with No. 3 South Carolina and Louisville for the first round. Live scoring can be found on Golfstat.com.
