As part of our 25 Years of Auburn Softball celebration, we're checking in with alumni from every era of the program to share their memories of being a Tiger.

Q: Why did you decide to continue your softball career at Auburn?
White: It felt like home. It was extremely welcoming, and the coaching staff made me feel like family.
Q: What is your favorite on-field memory?
White: Taking the series from Georgia my senior season. They were the No. 4 team in the country, and we played out butts off. It was a very eventful last inning. We threw out Megan Wiggins at home plate for the final out to take the series.
Q: What do you consider your biggest accomplishment during your collegiate career – on or off the field?
White: Being selected as team captain my sophomore season by my peers. That meant a lot to me. Also being selected All-SEC Second Team during my junior season. I missed 14 games that season and lost my all-time starts streak. I came back really strong and was proud of myself.

White: Hitting back-to-back home runs at Ole Miss with Elizabeth Eisterhold a.k.a. "Ice"
Q: Looking back at your career, what is one word you'd use to describe it?
White: Fulfilled. I competed every day. I gave everything I had for my teammates, my coaches, my school and myself.
Q: Who influenced your softball career the most?
White: That's a hard question to answer, but probably all of the coaches that took the time to teach me, love me and coach me hard.
Q: What was your favorite uniform combo?
White: All white – duh! 😊
Q: Why advice would you give to current/future Auburn softball student-athletes?
White: Enjoy every moment you have with your team. It goes by so fast. Embrace the struggle and the grind because the outcome is always beautiful.
Q: If you can give a message to the Auburn Family, what would it be?
White: Just thank you. Thank you for showing up for us and supporting us even in the tough times. It really meant a lot to our teams.
Q: What degree did you earn? What is your current career path?
White: I earned my degree in criminology. I currently am the head coach at Gardendale High School in Alabama.
