AUBURN, Ala. –Auburn track and field will compete in a pair of meets this weekend, splitting duties at the Meyo Invitational on the campus of Notre Dame on Saturday, and at the USA Invitational in Birmingham on Sunday.

Tiger distance veterans Joyce Kimeli and Presley Weems will be the Auburn contingent at the Meyo Invitational while headed to the USA Invitational will be Auburn's full throwing squad in addition to a limited selection of jumpers, sprinters, distance runners and multi-event performers.

"We had a solid effort across the board last weekend," Tigers head coach Ralph Spry said. "We saw a lot of kids progress from where they were the week prior. There will be a smaller group competing this weekend, just to give some of our athletes a mental and physical break, but we're still looking for the same thing we always do – for our kids to give 110% and put in the work to improve from week to week."

A total of four Auburn men are poised inside the nation's top-16 one month away from NCAA Indoors. Senior Dontavious Hill ranks sixth in high jump, senior Alex Spyridonidis ranks seventh in heptathlon, junior Kyle Brown ranks 10th in weigh throw and senior Christopher Grant ranks 15th in the 60m dash.

Brown will be the lone man of the quartet to return to action this weekend.

The Auburn women are led by senior Madi Malone, who ranks third nationally in weight throw, and senior Joyce Kimeli, who ranks 13th in the 5000m. Both women look to improve on their marks this weekend.

Kimeli will kickstart Saturday's action at 10a.m. CT from the Loftus Sports Center in the 3000m while Weems will follow in the mile at 10:55 a.m. CT.
