AUBURN, Ala. – The band is back together. This week, for the first time in 2022, the Auburn women's golf will play as team at the UCF Challenge in Orlando, Florida.

Auburn had four individuals play in the Lady Bulldog Invitational last weekend, but this marks the first team tournament of the spring schedule. It's a strong field, too, with eight of the 18 teams ranked in the top 40, including the 12th-ranked Tigers.

"It's always a nice vibe going with the whole team," Auburn senior Kaleigh Telfer said. "I think we're all in a good mindset, and we're all playing well. We just need to keep it up and hopefully bring home some silverware."

Telfer brought home some silverware last week, winning the individual title at the Lady Bulldog Invitational. The senior will take the top spot in the team's UCF Challenge lineup, followed by Megan Schofill, Elina Sinz, Mychael O'Berry and Anna Foster. Senior Julie McCarthy will also play as an individual for the Tigers.

For Auburn, this will be just the third traditional stroke play tournament of the 2021-22 season. The Tigers finished fifth or better in the previous two during the fall.

The UCF Challenge will run Sunday through Tuesday from Eagle Creek Golf Course (Par 72, 6349 yards). Auburn will be paired with Miami and Wake Forest in the first round with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. CT. Live scoring can be found on Golfstat.com.
