AUBURN, Ala. – With personnel from 31 NFL teams and scouts from the XFL and Canadian Football League documenting each drill, 12 former Tigers showcased their skills Tuesday at Auburn's Pro Day.

"I feel like I did great today, I felt like I executed everything," said Auburn's highest rated pro prospect, defensive back Roger McCreary. "I've been with these guys for four years. It was great to be here and do the drills with them one more time."

A potential first-rounder, McCreary plans to be home in Mobile with his family when the 2022 NFL Draft begins April 28 in Las Vegas.

"My support system is the reason why I'm here," said McCreary, who ran an unofficial 4.46 40-yard dash at Pro Day. "That's who I want to celebrate with. I just need that one opportunity, that one phone call.

"Growing up, I always had a chip on my shoulder. I just want to prove everybody wrong. That was my mindset: prove everybody wrong and dominate the No. 1 receiver."'Prove everybody wrong': Roger McCreary ran an unoffical 4.46 40-yard dash
McCreary's teammate in Auburn's defensive backfield, Smoke Monday, reflected on his four seasons on the Plains and the professional opportunity ahead.

"It's been great. It's been what I dreamed it would be growing up," Monday said. "Not many guys get to feel this moment. If you work hard and you do everything right, God will put you in the right position."

For linebacker Zakoby McClain, Pro Day provided another chance to show the scouts that he's ready for the NFL at 6-foot, 227 pounds.

"I had to overcome that my whole life," McClain said. "They look at my game and see I'm a hard-nosed player. They can see how I love football. It's amazing to come out here with my brothers. It's a good atmosphere. I love it."

Fellow linebacker Chandler Wooten captained the 2021 Tigers after opting out of the 2020 season, selling scouts on his versatility and potential room for further development.

"It's awesome to come out here and compete with my teammates every single week," Wooten said. "It meant the world to me, now having the opportunity to chase my dreams so I'm looking forward to the future."

Looking lean at 6-foot-5, 306 pounds after changing his nutrition habits, offensive lineman Brodarious Hamm impressed the pros with his quickness and mobility

"I'm going to bring a hard worker, willing to come in and do whatever for the team," Hamm said. "I'm a team player, whatever you need me to do I'm there. At the end of the day, it's all about who's going to come in and work the hardest."

Defensive tackle Tony Fair, who joined Auburn as a graduate transfer for the 2021 season, has slimmed down 8 pounds to 342 and hopes to play at 325 in the pros.

"Everybody's talented, especially when you're going against SEC teams every week," Fair said. "That helped me a lot going against them to show how good I am.

"I tell them they're going to get a big, athletic guy who's going to be able to move the whole front around. I'm very quick and agile, I'm not just a run stuffer. I can rush the passer."

Receiver Demetris Robertson ran an unofficial 4.47 40, making his case for NFL teams to invest in him.

"Everything went as planned. I give all my credit to God, my support system and the Auburn staff," said Robinson, elaborating on what he plans to bring to an organization. "A man of character, a hard-working athlete, someone who can be a leader on the team. I want to keep proving to myself and the NFL scouts that I'm that guy."

Measuring 5-foot-8 and 3/8 inches, walk-on Devin Guice dazzled with his 35-inch vertical leap and 10-7 broad jump.

"I know I have the athletic ability," Guice said. "I may be at a smaller stature but I still have the power and everything I need to show the coaches and scouts that I can do everything they need me to do on the field.

"I'm the most confident player you'll ever have but I'm also the most humble. I'll make sure that any team that brings me on, we're going to leave with the championship."

T.D. Moultry, Bydarrius Knighten Aidan Marshall and Clarke Smith also participated in Auburn's Pro Day.
