Alumni Spotlight: Holly Currie

Alumni Spotlight: Holly CurrieAlumni Spotlight: Holly Currie

In 1997, Auburn softball competed in its inaugural season. Throughout the 2022 campaign, we are celebrating the many faces, moments and victories that have shaped our program over the last 25 years.

As part of our 25 Years of Auburn Softball celebration, we're checking in with alumni from every era of the program to share their memories of being a Tiger.

The next Tiger stepping to the plate left behind a legacy as the best hitting pitcher in program history. Holly Currie (2004-07) tossed the first perfect game in program history and is the only Tiger to ever hit for the cycle. She holds the program record for career no-hitter and ultimately is ranked in the top 10 in a total of 29 offensive and pitching career record. The Pisgah, Alabama native was a 2005 NFCA Second Team All-American and finished as a top 25 finalist for USA Softball Player of the Year that season.
