AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn (7-2) completes a stretch of six games in six days with a four-game series against Rhode Island (0-6) at Plainsman Park this weekend.

First pitch Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 2 p.m. and will consist of a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning game with approximately 45 minutes in between. Sunday's finale is set for 1 p.m.
 
The games can be heard on the Auburn Sports Network and will be broadcast locally on 93.9 FM and 95.9 FM. Sunday's contest will also be streamed on SEC Network+.

Auburn is 5-1 at home and is outscoring opponents 59-17 in six games at Plainsman Park.
 
The Tigers are 7-2 or better to start a season for the fourth time under head coach Butch Thompson.
 
Auburn turned in a season high in runs (16) and hits (17) Wednesday vs. UAB and have scored 29 runs on 29 hits in two games this week. 
 
The 16 runs on 17 hits were the most since setting program records in the categories against Alabama A&M a year ago.
 
Auburn's pitching staff has allowed 22 runs in the first nine games, marking the fewest since also allowing 22 runs in the first nine games of the 2001 season.
 
The Tigers are 74-23 (.763) against non-conference opponents in the regular season since the start of the 2018 season, including 39-12 (.765) on the weekend. 
 
Bryson Ware has driven in six runs on two occasions in the last six games. He is the first Auburn player to drive in six or more runs twice in a season since Tony Caldwell in 2011.
 
The weekend marks the first time Auburn and Rhode Island have played.
 SCOUTING THE RAMS 
Rhode Island enters the weekend with a 0-6 overall record after road series at Williams & Mary and South Alabama to begin the season.
 
Offensively, Javier Vargas leads the way with a .316 average while Eric Genther is the Rams top run producer with a home run and five RBI.
 
On the mound, five pitchers who have made an appearance have yet to allow an earned run.

Fans are encouraged to park in the coliseum parking lot, athletics complex parking deck and the stadium parking deck. Due to gymnastics Friday and basketball Saturday, the Auburn Arena lot will be closed.
 
Students who plan to utilize the new outfield viewing plaza in right center do not need to enter through the main student gate and may bring outside food and beverage into the space.
 
Students who wish to sit inside the ballpark (sections 111 and 58-73) must enter through the gate located behind home plate. Students will utilize their digital Tiger Card on their phones for entry. They may no longer enter through the gate located at the Tiger Terrace or down the right field, which has been moved approximately 30 feet from its original location.
 
All transactions for concessions and merchandise locations at Plainsman Park will be cashless (credit/debit and Tiger Cards only).
