AUBURN, Ala. – Redshirt-sophomore Ryan Dyal has been named a Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week, the publication announced Monday.
It marks the second straight week an Auburn player has earned the distinction after teammate Sonny DiChiara received the same accolade a week ago.
Dyal led the Southeastern Conference with 12 RBI in six games last week and drove in multiple runs on four occasions, including a career best four runs in the series finale against Rhode Island.

The Senoia, Georgia, native went 6-for-12 with six runs, three doubles, two homers and 10 RBI as Auburn outscored Rhode Island 49-3 in four games over the weekend.
Dyal hit his first home run of the season in game one of Saturday's doubleheader and added his first career grand slam in the series finale, ultimately driving in nine runs in the last three games of the series. He reached base a total of 11 times throughout the week and led the team with 16 total bases.
Dyal and the Tigers (11-2) continue non-conference play with a midweek matchup against Tennessee Tech (10-0) in Madison, Alabama, Wednesday before hosting Middle Tennessee (4-9) in the final non-conference series this weekend.
