FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Auburn men's basketball program will make its second all-time appearance in the Cancun Challenge to be held during Thanksgiving week on Nov. 22-23 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico.
The 15th edition of the tournament, hosted by Triple Crown Sports, features eight teams – Auburn, Bradley, Liberty, Northwestern, Eastern Michigan, Purdue Fort Wayne, Southern Miss and Winthrop.
The Tigers will open the Cancun Challenge with Bradley on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (CT) in the Riviera Division of the bracket. They will face the winner of Liberty versus Northwestern on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (CT) or 8:30 p.m. (ET) / 7:30 p.m. (CT).
Auburn's previous appearance at the Cancun Challenge was in 2016, where it went 3-1 with wins over Georgia State, Eastern Kentucky and Texas Tech.
