AUBURN, Ala. – No. 19 Auburn (24-12) begins a five-game week at Plainsman Park with a pair of midweek matchups against Alabama State (20-14) and Kennesaw State (22-12) Tuesday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT.

"We have to get back for a challenging, big week on campus with five games," head coach Butch Thompson said. "It's exciting. When teams are winning their conference at this stage in the year, it's unbelievable respect. You get that in Alabama State and Kennesaw State. Get ready. It's going to be an amazing week."
 
Both games will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on 93.9 FM. They are also available for streaming on SEC Network+.

 QUICK HITTERS 
Auburn is 7-1 in midweek games and has outscored the opponent 71-34 this season.
 
One of the team's midweek wins came on Mar. 1 against Alabama State (13-7).
 
The Tigers are 83-26 (.761) against non-conference opponents in the regular season since the start of the 2018 season, including 16-5 this season.
 
Auburn's win in the series finale at Miss. State was the team's 13th comeback win this year.
 
Mason Barnett is 2-0 with a 3.66 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 19.2 innings in five midweek starts.
 
Konner Copeland is set to make his second midweek start Wednesday. 
 
Auburn is 12-1 all-time against Alabama State and 6-3 against Kennesaw State.
 SCOUTING THE HORNETS 
Alabama State enters the week with a 20-14 overall record and sits atop the SWAC standings with an 11-2 mark in conference play.
 
The Hornets have won five straight and eight of their last nine games, including a midweek win against South Alabama last Tuesday.
 SCOUTING THE OWLS 
Kennesaw State enters the week with a 22-12 overall record and also sits atop its league standings with an 11-4 record in ASUN play.
 
The Owls rank 22nd in the country with a 3.04 team batting average and are led by Josh Hatcher's .424 clip, which ranks fifth in the NCAA.

Fans are encouraged to park in the coliseum parking lot, athletics complex parking deck and the stadium parking deck. Additional parking is available in the Neville Arena lot.
 
Students who plan to utilize the new outfield viewing plaza in right center do not need to enter through the main student gate and may bring outside food and beverage into the space.
 
Students who wish to sit inside the ballpark (sections 111 and 58-73) must enter through the gate located behind home plate. Students will utilize their digital Tiger Card on their phones for entry. They may no longer enter through the gate located at the Tiger Terrace or down the right field, which has been moved approximately 30 feet from its original location.
 
All transactions for concessions and merchandise locations at Plainsman Park will be cashless (credit/debit and Tiger Cards only).
