This weekend, Auburn Baseball will celebrate the 25th year of the Tigers' 1997 College World Series Team. Current pitching coach Tim Hudson was a two-way starter and a National Player of the Year. The Tigers were one of four teams from the SEC West to advance to Omaha.
Hal Baird's team advanced out of the Tallahassee Regional thanks in great measure to a dramatic walk off win on a Saturday afternoon. The all-time winningest coach in Auburn history, the man who hit that dramatic home run and one of the senior leaders are the guests today.
