AUBURN, Ala. – No. 25 Auburn (19-9) will look to continue its recent road success with a trip to Birmingham to take on UAB (19-8) Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT at Regions Field.

"We had success in our first matchup, but just like we know and talked about last week, every team in this state is going to be ready to play," head coach Butch Thompson said. "There was some frustration coming out of our midweek game last week, and that'll be our charge is how important it is this week."
 
The game will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on 93.9 FM. It will also be available for streaming on C-USA.TV.

 QUICK HITTERS 
Auburn is coming off its first series win in Baton Rouge since 2011 and its fourth straight SEC road series win dating back to last season.
 
It marks the first time Auburn has won four straight SEC road series since 1997-98.
 
The Tigers are 8-3 in games away from Plainsman Park this season.
 
The eight road wins and .727 winning percentage are the second best in the SEC.
 
The team has won 11 games in which they trailed and are 6-3 in one-run games this year.
 
Auburn entered the top 25 this week, marking the first time being ranked since week two of 2021.
 
The Tigers were tabbed No. 18 by Collegiate Baseball and No. 25 by Baseball America.
 
Sonny DiChiara leads the country in batting average (.461) and on-base percentage (.616) and ranks second in slugging percentage (.921).
 
Mason Barnett is set to make his second start against UAB this season. He held the Blazers to one run on two hits with no walks and eight strikeouts on Mar. 2.
 
The Tigers are 5-1 in midweek games and have outscored the opponent 69-21.
 
Auburn is 52-11 all-time against UAB, including 19-7 on the road against the Blazers.
 SCOUTING THE BLAZERS 
UAB enters the week with a 19-8 overall record and 5-4 mark in C-USA after beating Marshall in two of three games at home last weekend.
 
Under first-year head coach and former Auburn All-American Casey Dunn, the Blazers' 19 wins already surpass last year's win total.
 
Offensively, the Blazers are hitting .295 as a team with four players hitting .320 or better.
 
On the mound, UAB has turned in a 3.98 staff ERA.
