AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off back-to-back road series wins, No. 25 Auburn (20-9, 5-4 SEC) returns to Plainsman Park for the first time in three weekends to host No. 12 Vanderbilt (21-7, 4-5 SEC). First pitches are scheduled for Friday at 6p.m. CT, Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

"We want to hook it up and we want to play some great baseball here at Plainsman Park, which we should," head coach Butch Thompson said. Auburn is coming off back-to-back SEC road series wins and, dating back to last season, has won four straight SEC road series for the first time since 1997-98.
 
The Tigers are looking to win three straight SEC series for the first time since 2017.
 
Auburn has played just one game at Plainsman Park in the last 20 days.
 
The Tigers are 11-6 at home this season and 9-3 in road and neutral games.
 
The nine wins away from home are tied for the most in the SEC this season.
 
The team has won 11 games in which they trailed and are 6-3 in one-run games this year after going 6-11 in one-run games all of last season.
 
Auburn entered the top 25 this week, marking the first time being ranked since week two of 2021.
 
The Tigers were tabbed No. 18 by Collegiate Baseball and No. 25 by Baseball America.
 
Auburn is 96-64 all-time against Vanderbilt, including 54-22 against the Commodores at home.
 
The Commodores represent Auburn's third top-12 opponent in the first four weeks of SEC play.
 
The Tigers are 4-3 against ranked opponents this season, including 3-1 against teams ranked 12th.
 SCOUTING THE COMMODORES 
Vanderbilt enters the weekend ranked No. 12 and with a 21-7 overall record, including a 4-5 mark in SEC play.
 
The Commodores are coming off back-to-back series losses at South Carolina and against No. 1 Tennessee, marking the first time the program has lost back-to-back SEC series since 2018.
 
Offensively, the Commodores ranks third in the league with a .303 batting average, led by senior Dominic Keegan's .424 clip, which ranks third in the league.
 
On the mound, the Commodores rank second in the SEC with a 2.68 staff ERA and .197 average against. The team has allowed more than five runs just five times this year.

  • Freshman trading card giveaway, while supplies last.
  • The Kid Zone will be open, weather depending, and a balloon artist will be present for youth fans through the first hour of the game.
  • Postgame autograph session with the Auburn baseball freshmen.

 

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO 
Gates open one hour prior to first pitch on Friday and Sunday and two hours prior to first pitch Saturday.
 
Parking for Friday and Sunday: Fans are encouraged to park in the coliseum parking lot, athletics complex parking deck and the stadium parking deck. Additional parking is available in the Neville Arena lot.
 
Parking for Saturday: Fans attending Saturday's game who are not attending Auburn football A-Day will be able to access parking lots on campus without a parking pass beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT. Donahue Dr. from Samford Ave. to Magnolia Ave. and Heisman Dr. from the Tiger Walk intersection around Jordan-Hare Stadium will be closed with no traffic allowed. The roads will open at 4:05 p.m.
 
Students who plan to utilize the new outfield viewing plaza in right center do not need to enter through the main student gate and may bring outside food and beverage into the space.
 
Students who wish to sit inside the ballpark (sections 111 and 58-73) must enter through the gate located behind home plate. Students will utilize their digital Tiger Card on their phones for entry. They may no longer enter through the gate located at the Tiger Terrace or down the right field, which has been moved approximately 30 feet from its original location.
 
All transactions for concessions and merchandise locations at Plainsman Park will be cashless (credit/debit and Tiger Cards only).
