AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn golfers J.M. Butler, Evan Vo and Brendan Valdes were named to a trio of All-SEC teams by the league's head coaches, the conference office announced Friday.

Butler was voted Second Team All-SEC following an outstanding sophomore campaign up to this point in the season. The Louisville, Kentucky product not only boasts the No. 10 scoring average in the league but has also finished inside the top-15 in eight of his nine tournaments. His current shot average of 70.25 per round ranks at the tops in Auburn single-season history.

Butler becomes the 92nd All-SEC selection in program history. The Tigers have had at least one man named to an all-conference team every season under 13th-year head coach Nick Clinard.

Vo earned a nod on the All-Freshman squad thanks to a mature collegiate debut. The Austin, Texas native's best outing came in an 11-under showing at the General Hackler Championship. The newbie carded a final-round 64 to tie the Dunes Golf Club course record and lead the team to its second championship of the spring slate.

The honor for Vo is the 12th All-Freshman selection in history for the Tigers. It also marks the third-consecutive year that Auburn has had a rookie make the team. Vo joins a successful lineage that includes teammates Butler and Alex Vogelsong.

Valdes was recognized for his terrific efforts in the fight against pediatric cancer. The freshman was named to the SEC Community Service Team after starting his own charity golf scramble to benefit the Ian Supra Memorial Foundation.

The Orlando, Florida native becomes the 16th overall Auburn community service selection and is the first Tiger to ever do so as a freshman.

The trio returns to competition next week, May 16-18, in the NCAA Normal Regional at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in hopes to punch the program's 25th ticket to the NCAA Championship.
