AUBURN, Ala. – Days ahead of its opening contest at the Clemson Regional, Auburn softball (39-15) remained ranked across all four major polls for the 13th consecutive week.
 
For the second straight week, Auburn was ranked No. 17 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll. The ranking was Auburn's highest of the week.
 
Auburn stumbled one spot to No. 21 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 and dropped three spots to No. 22 in the latest Softball America Top 25.
 
D1 Softball did not release an updated top 25 ahead of regional action. The Tigers were ranked No. 19 in the last edition of the publication's rankings.
 
In the latest NCAA Division I RPI rankings, Auburn fell four spots to No. 32.
 
Oklahoma remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the country for the 14th consecutive week. The Sooners hold a 49-2 record this season and earned the top seed in the NCAA Tournament. A total of nine SEC programs were ranked in the latest polls. Joining the Tigers were No. 4 Arkansas, No. 7 Alabama, No. 12 Florida, No. 13 Tennessee, No. 15 Kentucky, No. 19 Georgia, No. 20 Missouri and No. 22 LSU.
 
The week the Tigers make their 17th appearance in the NCAA tournament after earning the two seed at the Clemson Regional, hosted by 10th-seeded Clemson. Louisiana and UNCW round out the Clemson Regional field. The winner will advance to the Super Regional round to face the winner of the Stillwater Regional hosted by seventh-seeded Oklahoma State.
