AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn's women's tennis coaching staff made it a clean sweep of the ITA regional awards as head coach Caroline Lilley was named Coach of the Year and associate head coach Megan Falcon was named Assistant Coach of the Year, it was announced Monday.
 
Lilley and Falcon led Auburn to one of the best seasons in school history in 2022 as the Tigers finished 22-6 overall and advanced to the NCAA Super Regional, equaling the deepest tournament run in Auburn history. It was also a history-making SEC season as Auburn went 11-2 in league play and finished second in the final standings, the highest SEC finish by an Auburn women's tennis team.
 
Lilley wrapped up her third season at the helm of the Auburn program and has a 44-21 overall record as the Tigers' head coach with a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. Falcon completed her first year on the Auburn staff in 2022.
 
The ITA Southern Region includes all Division I schools in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
