AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
It marks the 17th time since 2004 the Tigers have earned the award.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2020-21 academic year.
Bolstered by 11 student-athletes earning a perfect 4.0 and an additional 10 earning above a 3.50, Auburn's team GPA of 3.65 was among the 45 highest of the 488 total women's teams that were honored this year.
