AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn head diving coach Jeff Shaffer has added a little more depth to his already talented roster with the addition of All-American Walker Creedon, a graduate transfer from the University of Virginia.
Creedon arrives on the Plains after a prolific career in Charlottesville. He ranks seventh all-time in both the 1-meter and 3-meter and holds the third highest score in program history in the platform (384.25).
Twice Creedon won the Zone A Championships in the platform and advanced to the NCAA Championships on three different occasions. Last season was arguably his best in the diving well, capturing All-ACC in both the 1-meter and platform.
Prior to Virginia, Creedon was a stand-out performer at Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina. A state record-holder in the 1-meter, Creedon was also a 14-time Junior National Finalist and a five-time AAU Champion. Helping his squad to a state championship, he has also been an active competitor in USA diving since 2008.
