AUBURN, Ala. – Members of the Auburn men's tennis team are set to compete in the ITA All-American Championships this weekend in Tulsa, Okla.
The Prequalifier round will be held on Saturday and Sunday, the qualifier round will be held on Monday and Tuesday, while the main draw will be hosted Wednesday through the following Sunday.
Seniors Spencer Gray and Finn Murgett will get the tournament started for Auburn at 8 a.m. CT on Saturday. Gray will battle Duke's Andrew Dale while Murgett will take on Thomas Brennan from Butler.
At 10:30 a.m. CT, senior Raul Dobai will play Oklahoma State's Isaac Becroft, who is the number one prequalifiers seed. At 11:30 a.m. CT, junior Josh Raab will battle Kenner Taylor from conference foe Texas A&M. At 12:30 p.m. CT, sophomore Will Nolan will play Arizona State's Constantinos Koshis. Lastly, freshman Alejandro Moreno will take on Nicola Cigna from Arizona State at 2:15 p.m. CT.
Prequalifies are played in a bracket-style format, so all opponents after the initial matches will depend on results.
Senior Tyler Stice is already in the main draw in singles, so he will begin playing on Wednesday, while Jan Galka will be able to bypass the prequalified round and will begin playing on Monday.
