AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn junior Ariana Arseneault picked up a couple of singles victories in the consolation bracket of the qualifying round of the ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday.
Arseneault defeated Harvard's Maxi Duncan 6-3, 6-0 then went on to take down Clarissa Hand from Northwestern, who is ranked 68th nationally in singles, 6-2, 7-5.
"How we carry ourselves when we are up in a set is just as important as how we carry ourselves when we are fighting to make things competitive," associate head coach Megan Falcon said after Arseneault's victories. "As we strive for small improvements, we would like to see more professionalism from our team. The little things add up."
