BATON ROGUE, La. – The Auburn women's tennis team will have representatives participating in the ITA Southern Regionals in Baton Rouge this weekend. Juniors Adeline Flach and Anastasia Astakhova as well as freshman Kaitlyn Carnicella will represent the Tigers in the main draw.
Flach, Carnicella and Astakhova will both receive a first round byes into Friday afternoon's matches. Flach's first match will be against Ana Koudmarua from New Orleans while Astakhova will play host school LSU's Anastasiya Komar. Carnicella's first opponent has not yet been announced.
In the doubles main draw, Flach and Carnicella will form a doubles team, but since they receive a first round bye, they're opponent has not yet been announced. That match is also scheduled to be played on Friday afternoon.
