AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn soccer begins the final stretch of conference play action with a home match against No. 16 Tennessee Thursday, Oct. 20.

The game will be streamed via SECN+ with Mac Matthews and Brit Bowen on the call. First kick from the Auburn Soccer Complex is set for 6:30 p.m. CST.

"We're thinking of every game from this point forward as a playoff game," Tigers head coach Karen Hoppa said. We're locked in on Tennessee at this point. They're a great team and their attack is as good as anybody in the country.  It'll be handful for our defense for sure, but that's what you get with each SEC battle."

The Lady Vols hold the all-time series lead, 12-10-4, however it is the Tigers who have come out on top as of late, posting a 4-1-1 record over the last six meetings. Additionally, Auburn has not lost to Tennessee at home since the 2012 season.

In last season's match against the Lady Vols, the Tigers found a goal from Marissa Arias via an assist from Olivia Candelino. Goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska went the distance in the double overtime game, making six saves on eight shots faced.
