As Auburn softball continues to roll through the fall season, a group of fresh faces are poised to make and instant impact and continue to take the program to the next level. Throughout the fall, we'll introduce the new members of Auburn softball as they prepare to put the Southeastern Conference and country on notice.
Taking over in the circle is true freshman Emmah Rolfe, a right-handed pitcher from Madison, Alabama. A nationally ranked recruit, Rolfe was named the Class 7A Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association in 2022.
Q: What is your favorite homecooked meal?
Rolfe: Steak, baked potato and macaroni and cheese.
Q: What uniform combo are you most looking forward to wearing?
Rolfe: All whites.
Q: What's currently your favorite social media platform to use?
Rolfe: Instagram.
Q: If Auburn softball could play in a tournament anywhere in the world, where would you'd like to go?
Rolfe: Hawaii, because it is pretty there.
Q: Describe your perfect piece of pizza.
Rolfe: Light red sauce, think crust, cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms.
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
Rolfe: Christmas.
Q: If you could have any animal as a pet, what would you pick?
Rolfe: A panda bear. They are cute!
Q: If you had to switch sports for a week, what Auburn team would you join?
Rolfe: Gymnastics.
Q: What jersey number are you wearing this upcoming season?
Rolfe: No. 4. It was my dad's number when he played.
Q: What type of music gets your hyped before a game?
Rolfe: R&B.
Q: If you could only watch one TV show for the rest of your left, what show would it be?
Rolfe: Impractical Jokers. It is so funny.
Q: What is your favorite professional athlete or sports team to follow?
Rolfe: Dansby Swanson.
Q: What is an interesting fact about yourself that the Auburn Family should know?
Rolfe: I have a dog named Hershey.
