AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn baseball hosts archrival Alabama in its final exhibition of the fall Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Plainsman Park.

Admission is free. Those unable to attend can listen to the action on WEGL 91.1 or follow along via live stats.

QUICK HITTERS

Members of the 2022 College World Series team will return to the Plains this weekend and be recognized prior to first pitch Friday and between the first and second quarter of the Auburn football game Saturday.

Coming off the program's second trip to Omaha in the last three postseasons, the roster currently consists of 24 returners and 24 newcomers, who have been ranked as high as the No. 5 signing class in the country by Perfect Game.

Entering his eighth season at the helm of the program, Butch Thompson returns assistant coaches Karl Nonemaker, who was named the 2022 ABCA National Assistant Coach of the Year, and Gabe Gross, and welcomes pitching coach Daron Schoenrock to the staff this season.

Auburn's 2023 schedule has been announced and includes 31 games at Plainsman Park, beginning with a three-game series against Indiana from Feb. 17-19.

BEAT BAMA FOOD DRIVE

Friday's game will benefit the Beat Bama Food Drive, and fans are asked to donate non-perishable food items to support the cause.

Donation bins will be located outside of the main gates, and representatives from the Food Bank of East Alabama will be on site.

Every $1 donated can provide up to seven meals, and one in five Alabama residents are food insecure.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Fans are asked to enter through the main gates behind home plate and Tiger Terrace gates. The right field gates will be closed to the public.

Parking will be available in the Neville Arena lot, stadium parking deck and athletics complex parking deck. The Coliseum lot will be closed for RVs only. Cars must be removed from all parking spots following the game or will be subject to towing.

The concession stand behind home plate will be fully operational. A Chick-fil-A cart will be located behind home plate and the Ben's Soft Pretzel truck will be located beyond the Tiger Terrace fence.

The AU Team Shop will be setup inside the main gates. All transactions are cashless.
