As Auburn softball continues to roll through the fall semester, a group of fresh faces are poised to make and instant impact and continue to take the program to the next level. Throughout the fall, we'll introduce the new members of Auburn softball as they prepare to put the Southeastern Conference and country on notice.
 
A threat at the plate and in the circle, sophomore Icess Tresvik transferred to the Plains from North Carolina A&T. Tresvik led the Aggies in batting average, home runs and RBI last season and in return earned Big South All-Freshman Team and Big South All-Conference Second Team honors.
 
Q: Who has influenced your softball career the most?
Tresvik: My dad.
 
Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes that want to play at the next level? 
Tresvik: Stay true to yourself and never let go of your dreams.  
 
Q: What is your favorite homecooked meal?
Tresvik: My favorite homecooked meal is chili.  
 
Q: What uniform combo are you most looking forward to wearing?
Tresvik: The all-white unis. I'm excited for it!
 
Q: What makes Auburn softball special?
Tresvik: What makes Auburn softball so special is we have a family-oriented atmosphere. We're very supportive of each other.  
 
Q: What's currently your favorite social media platform to use?
Tresvik: Instagram.
 
Q: If Auburn softball could play in a tournament anywhere in the world, where would you'd like to go?
Tresvik: Hawaii. I've always wanted to go there.  
 
Q: What has been the highlight of your career thus far?
Tresvik: The highlight of my career so far is making history at my previous school, North Carolina A&T. Hopefully, I make some history here.  
 
Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, which three teammates would you want to have with you?
Tresvik: Makayla (Packer), Denver (Bryant), Maia (Engelkes).  
 
Q: Describe your perfect piece of pizza.
Tresvik: Peperoni pizza.  
 
Q: How is Auburn different from your hometown?
Tresvik: It's way bigger than my hometown, and the atmosphere is more upbeat.  
 
Q: What are your academic and athletic goals for this season?
Tresvik: My academic goal is to always have A's or B's. My athletic goal is being the best I can be in the SEC.
     
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
Tresvik: Christmas.
 
Q: Who is a celebrity you admire?
Tresvik: Kobe Bryant.  
 
Q: If you could have any animal as a pet, what would you pick?
Tresvik: A tiger cub.  
 
Q: What makes the coaching staff at Auburn different from other coaches you've had in your career?
Tresvik: They are more hands on and explain everything in details.  
   
Q: If you had to switch sports for a week, what Auburn team would you join? 
Tresvik: Basketball.  
 
Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?   
Tresvik: Jayson Tatum, Derek Jeter and Kobe Bryant.  
 
Q: Why did you decide to continue your softball career at Auburn?  
Tresvik: I wanted to be part of a great softball program that I knew would help me get better each day, and I want to compete for a coaching staff that's tough on me and pushes me to be better.   
 
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
Tresvik: I have to listen to music before a game.   
 
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Tresvik: Teleportation, so I wouldn't have to wait so long to travel to a location.
 
Q: What type of music gets your hyped before a game?
Tresvik: NBA YoungBoy, 42 Dugg, Lil' Baby and Drake.   
 
Q: If you could only watch one TV show for the rest of your left, what show would it be? 
Tresvik: Boondocks.   
 
Q: What is your favorite professional athlete or sports team to follow?
Tresvik: Jayson Tatum.  
 
Q: What is one word you'd use to describe yourself on the field and one word you'd use to describe yourself off the field?
Tresvik: On the field, humble. Off the field, goofy.   
 
Q: What is your favorite dessert?
Tresvik: Ice cream. It's always a go-to dessert. It never misses.   
 
Q: What is an interesting fact about yourself that the Auburn Family should know?
Tresvik: I customize shoes like AFI, Vans, Jordans.   
 
Q: What's a favorite memory you've made with a teammate so far?
Tresvik: Playing our first fall game together.   
 
Q: If you could give a message to the Auburn Family, what would it be?
Tresvik: Thank you all for accepting me into this program and family. It really mans a lot and has made transferring so much easier.   
 
Q: What is your favorite Auburn sport other than softball?
Tresvik: Football. I always loved watching football and the atmosphere is so fun to be around.  
 
Q: If you could trade places with one of your coaches for a game, who would it be?
Tresvik: Carosone. She's always vibing. She's a pretty chill person.
