Rudy Ford chose the perfect week for a breakout game, pulling down two interceptions to help snap the Packers' five-game losing streak while Darius Slayton scored his second touchdown of the season and continues to step up as a playmaker for the Giants.
That and more in this week's NFL rundown.
BEST OF WEEK 10
Montravius Adams, DT, Pittsburgh Steelers
In a 20-10 victory over New Orleans, the Steel City defense dominated, holding the Saints to just 29 yards rushing on 15 carries. In what his second start this season, Adams was an integral part of that defensive effort. Playing on 13 snaps and getting two tackles, the sixth-year veteran tallied up a PFF grade of 89.7, the third highest on Pittsburgh's defense.
Derrick Brown, DT, Carolina Panthers
The former first-round pick led the defensive charge under the primetime lights in a 25-15 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Despite being tabbed questionable due to illness last Monday, Brown did not hold back during Thursday's matchup. He finished with six tackles, including two solo tackles, and four QB hurries – earning a PFF grade of 76.3. Brown was ranked 12th among all interior defenders this week. With 48 tackles through the first 10 games, he is currently third in the NFL in total tackles at the defensive tackle spot.
It's a short list of DTs playing better than Derrick Brown.

Carlton Davis, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The last two games of October, Davis did not touch the field due to a hip injury. Fast forward a few weeks, and he is back playing to his usual standard. Playing in Munich, Germany on Sunday, Davis gave Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett some trouble. The former second-round pick was only targeted once and racked up four tackles on the day. He earned a 71.9 overall PFF grade and a 77.8 grade for tackling.
Rudy Ford, S, Green Bay Packers
"Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!" could be heard coming from Green Bay's locker room following a 31-28 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Ford, who entered the day with one career interception in 65 NFL regular-season games, snagged not one but two interceptions in the second quarter off fellow SEC alum, Dak Prescott. Both resulted in touchdowns for the Packers. Ford became the 14th former Auburn player to intercept two passes in a single NFL game and the second to do it this season (Jamel Dean, Week 2). He also added four tackles and earned his highest PFF grade of the season at 88.3.

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
Slayton is making it clear to everyone that he has found his rhythm and is proving himself to be a dynamic piece of New York's wide receiver corps. Holding a 7-3 lead over the Houston Texans at the half, the former fifth-round pick got the Giants rolling on the opening drive of the third quarter with a 54-yard catch-and-run touchdown. Slayton finished with three catches for 95 yards, the fifth highest receiving total of his career.
