At Williamson High School in Mobile, Lauretta Freeman was four-sport star. By the time she came to play basketball at Auburn, Freeman was down to a pair of sports. Lauretta was part of a Final Four with Joe Ciampi's Tigers. In her senior season, she was SEC Player of the Year and an All-American, averaging a double-double. She also took second in the High Jump at the SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
