AUBURN, Ala. – The season-opening match up is set for the No. 5 Auburn gymnastics team. The Tigers will compete in the Saturday night session at the inaugural Super 16 presented by Ozone inside the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Jan. 7.
Auburn will take on the last three NCAA champions in No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Michigan and No. 10 UCLA at 8 p.m. CT. The Sooners have won two of the last four national titles (2019, 2022), while Michigan took the crown in 2021 and the Bruins finished first in 2018.
"We're excited to go into a meet against three former national champions," head coach Jeff Graba said. "We are fully aware of the challenge we face, but in order to be the best you have to test yourself. This is a great opportunity to start the season off with a big challenge and it will make us a better team."
Single-session ticket are on sale as well as all-session tickets. Tickets may be purchased online through the Orleans Arena website.
